@shahriar_sadm

Just giving us Activity Monitor output does not give us any helpful info.

We need to know more about your environment (i.e. exact NBU version on master, media and Hyper-V, OS version on Hyper-V server) and we need to understand what type of restore you attempted and the steps you followed.

Please try again and take screenshots of each step.

Before attempting another restore, please ensure that you have log folders:
On media server: bpbrm and bptm (level 3), bpVMreq
On Hyper-V server: tar, bpVMreq, bpVMutil

See NetBackup logs and how to create them in NetBackup for Hyper-V Administrator's Guide

Hi @Marianne

MBU verson on Master, Media and Hyper-V is 7.7.2 and Hyper-V OS is Windows 2012

for restore I use BAR section in master, source and dest is Virtual machine name, policy:hyper-v, restore type: virtual machine backup. and restore option is restore to Hyper-V server ( same location and same hyper-v server).

Now, I create logs and start new restore,

Please see filess attacheded

@Marianne

Please see this error

I was hoping that you would post step-by-step screenshots of the restore process.

From the logs, it seems that you may have attempted alternate path restore (presence of C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\ALTPATH\.rename.26542 file)

I see these errors :

09:14:36.951 [12028.14624] <16> tar_restore_vxms::errorVxFIHandler: VXFI MESSAGE - severity 2, winfsys:Sun Nov 26 2017 09:14:36.951000 WinFsysFiCoordinator::claim 253, Error message: ' failed with error 123: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
09:14:37.171 [12028.14624] <16> tar_restore_vxms::errorVxFIHandler: VXFI MESSAGE - severity 3, vss:Sun Nov 26 2017 09:14:37.167000 <Thread id - 14624> CWmiLibrary::initializeCom: ConnectServer() failed with error 0x80070005. message: Access is denied.

So, it seems you need to carefully re-check restore parameters and destination.

@Marianne

Sorry, My restore steps screenshot attached. and I run a new restore with same location and same server option. I get this errors again:

I see that you chose to restore to the same location but NOT overwrite the virtual machine.

What is your expectation of these settings?
