I would like to know how i can backup VMware host?
I heard of 3 methods
1. ESX server snapshot
2. VMAPI
3. Individual host
And there are few methos like NBD & SAN
I heard about MAPPED FULL VM Backups
I am kind of confused
Please help me with scratch to learn it

could you calrify if you are looking for VMware host backups ( ESX & ESXi hosts ) or VM guests ( VM created on Vmware hosts)?
if that is the Vmware hosts backups, Netbackup can not do it.. you need to Discussion options with Vmware team.. becuase it does not allow netbackup to installed.. etc...
if you are looking for VM Guests, you can do backups in 2 different methos
1) considering like normal physical server by installing the Netbackup on each Vm and configuring the backups
2) configuring the VADP backups using the VMware as policy type.
