Images are not duplicated (SLP)

We have some list of images in VTL which have not duplicated into LTO4, for the same the images are not expired.

We haven’t faced any duplication failures for these images.

So what will be the root cause for this to be happening?

Hi,

Are you performing duplication via Catalog tab or Storage life cycle policy ?

Have you been monitoring SLP duplication progress on a day-to-day basis?

Please check output of 'nbstlutil stlilist -image_incomplete -U'

Have you customized LIFECYCLE_PARAMETERS file?

Please also confirmed if you have installed the SLP EEB for 7.0.1:

(ET1975674) DOCUMENTATION: Issues resolved in the EEB package for Storage Lifecycle Policies (SLP) in NetBackup 7.0.1

Yes, we do monitoring the SLP status every day but we are ignoring some status codes (191,12,150) for SLP jobs.

Can you please help us on the SLP Status code which is critical and how to troubleshoot it.

The list of images which are not duplicated is not showing in this command: 'nbstlutil stlilist -image_incomplete -U'

Yes, ET1975674 is already installed in our environment.

Are you 100% sure the backup was made by SLP and not 'normal' STU?

Either that or duplication is complete.

Any reason why you ignored those error status of SLP jobs?

191 - no images is duplicated
12 - Can be shared memory issue or file read error
150 - Manually terminated due to the above causes?

Just like Marianne asked, those images you expect to be processed by SLP needs to be in that nbstlutil output list, otherwise you could be assuming that SLP picks up all backup images but in reality it's not.

Please provide a policy listing of your backup image (bppllist <policyname> -L) and nbstl -L output.
