Hello,
Actually we working with Netbackup 7.5.0.5 and need restore a backup from de other installation of netbakup, the import the phase 1 is correct, but in the phase 2 the process not finish in days with big backup files, in the case is the 900 GB, with other files is working.
Log file example:
Import phase 2 started Tue May 19 15:34:52 2015
15:34:52 INF - Importing policy Jobs_FS_DB_PROD_Server11.uchile.cl, schedule Full (Server11_1414670400), media id O703L5, created on 10/30/2014 09:00:00.
15:34:53 INF - If Media id O703L5 is not in a robotic library administrative interaction may be required to satisfy this mount request.
15:34:53 INF - Waiting for mount of media id O703L5 on server consoladell-l2 for reading.
15:35:37 INF - Waiting for positioning of media id O703L5 on server consoladell-l2 for reading.
15:37:54 INF - Beginning import on server consoladell-l2 of client Server11.
What parameter must be updated to work?

If it's still running - then are you able to fire up any monitoring or HBA tools to look for traffic? i.e. tape I/O ? If the original data contained millions of small files, then it can take quite some time to complete a phase 2 import.

I have seen that when the window is closed where the import is started, it will actually kill bptm process.
To know what is happening, ensure you have bptm and bpbrm log folders on media server consoladell-l2.

Thanks,
sdo: The status in the Libray is idle and before of the cancel the process it worked for 8 days. We not appreciate significative traffic in the HBA.
Marianne: The process is realized for console (linux command screen) for avoid the kill process, and the GUI is the same result.
Not exist log with error or warning messages visible for the phase 2 in netbackup or consoladell-l2

Log folders do not exist by default.
You need to create them on the media server before another import attempt.

Thanks, I can now see the logs and the process.

The documentation indicates for tuning create the files:
I have changed, but the time has not changed phase 2
Exist some buffer or other files?
