Informix backup on Solaris

Cheers

I've got a Netbackup master/media server running on Linux

I need to take a backup on a Informix database, residing on a Solaris 10 box. I've installed the backup client via ssh, (/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/install_client_files ssh client) and it is basicly working. But when i need to take specific backup of the database, the documentation says:

"..

To specify the Informix home path
1 Change to the following directory:
                      /usr/openv/netbackup/bin
2 Run the following script: ./informix_config

.."

But the informix_config script is not there. Does anybody know why?

Seems Informix on Solaris 10 x86-64 is only supported as from NBU 7.5.
Supported on SPARC as from 7.0...

See NetBackup 7 Application/Database Agent (CL):    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126904

You will need to upgrade your entire environment.

Which NBU version?

Agents and Options are included in client software as from NBU 7.0. Older versions require separate installation of agents.

Please double-check version of software on Informix client:

cat /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/version
