Inline duplication of Cataloge - Any issues with restore

Bob_-

Becasue a cataloge backup takes a long time I'm considering doing an inline duplication to different geographical locations (local & offsite).  This will give me two copies in thshoterest time possible.

When it comes to restore time of the catalogue can I guarantee that the restore will trigger only a request for one of the sets of media and not both?

You can restore Catalog from 'copy 2' Catalog Backup when you have lost 'copy 1' .

BTW inline copy(multiple copies) may not resolve your problem, as multiple copies does not process data transfer simultaneously in its internal operation. Data in buffer is processed in copy 1, then it is processed in copy 2 , so backup time will get worse than now.
