Master Server: Solaris X86_10

SunOS <boot server> 5.10 Generic_150400-10 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise

Client : Solaris 10 Sparc

Patch level same as boot server

While creating SRT on Boot server, following issue is seen. Any help would be appreciated.

Checking for pre-existing SYMCnbclt package.

File /tmp/install_trace.2941 contains a trace of this install.
That file can be deleted after you are sure the install was successful.
[Error] V-125-346 NBU Client install script did not run successfully
[Error] V-125-447 Unable to install Symantec NetBackup Client software into the SRT.
Do you want to retry install of Symantec NetBackup Client? (y/n) [y] :

In some of the posts, they were referring to umask, in this case its fine on all the three servers.

# umask
0022

Also, I do not see this file /tmp/install_trace.2941 to look at what is going wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Theres another forum post that claims convincingly that its  a solaris issue specifcially with s10u10, which is what you have.
