We have a Mac running OSX 10.5.4 Server that we just inherited and we are trying to get the 6.5.3 netbackup client installed on it. We tried using the NetBackup_6.5_CLIENTS2.tar.gz package to install 6.5 then we figured we could upgrade to 6.5.3. The install script errors out. Anyone know how to get this working?
It complains about a -e option to the echo command
Thanks

I just got one of those MAC's too.
we got the 6.5 installed ( sent them the install file and told them how to untar, run the install)
that seemed to work ok
now I am trying to figure out how to push the 6.5.3 update from my unix master.
what are you doing to install?
the files we used were ( because it was not avail until 6.5.2)
NB_MAC_6.5.2.tar_304434_lepoard.gz
NetBAckup_6.5_CLIENTS2.tar.gz
so try that lepoard file first then try the 6.5.3
