Hi Experts,
I have been trying to access windows 2008 master server 7.6 via java console from my laptop which has win7 installed?
I put the crendentials on the java console with domain and user name, password but getting an error message Status 503.
Let me tell you i didnot make any specific changes for running JAVA console. I just installed it on my laptop. I am also in the same domain.
Thanks,

In all honesty, to manage a Windows master, I prefer the Windows Admin Console, but it does require a SERVER entry on the master for your laptop.
About Java - you need to add your user name in auth.conf on the master. The file does not exist by default and must be created.
Additional steps are explained in this post: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/netbackup-7506-java-console-unable-loginstatus503-inv...
Hope this helps.
