ERR - Script exited with status = 1 <the requested operation was partially successful>

1st thing to check is the script output file. Work with you Oracle dba to troubleshoot.

You need to look at the bphdb logs on the Oracle client to see what caused it to fail, as well as the RMAN logs from your Oracle DBA. These two logs will give you a clearer picture on what to troubleshoot.

I would also recommend looking through the NetBackup Troubleshooting Guide: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/15179611-140217782-0/v15093591-140217782

It has a lot of helpful information on where to start troubleshooting. Once you've developed a good technique for troubleshooting NetBackup problems, you can start utilizing the application-specific guides for more detailed troubleshooting steps. Here's the troubleshooting guide from the NBU for Oracle Admin guide: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/16226115-130539065-0/v23552379-130539065

I never said there is anything wrong with the script. The rman script is failing with status 1 for some or other reason. NBU is only reporting that the script has failed.
Maybe something is wrong with the archive logs. We need Oracle to tell us what is wrong.

Ask the dba to check the rman output.
You can also try to see if there is anything useful in this log: usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/dbext/logs/input.697.0.1602258353
Also check for any other logs during this period over here : /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/dbext/logs/

According to the policy name, this might be an OIP. In that case, ensure that this log folder exist:
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpdbsbora

It is worrying that the last log in /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/dbext/logs folder is 6 Sept.
Was this the last successful backup?
Can you please verify that this folder still has 777 permissions?

Then bpdbsbora:

ORA-12541: TNS:no listener

The subsequent errors are because of 'no listener'

Do you agree that this an Oracle error? Not NetBackup?
Has your dba seen this?

Please copy & paste that line into Google and see what comes up.
