Hi there,

i need to assigne a backupjob which will remove data from a DEDUPE disk which is older then one month.

this data shhould be written to tape for longterm backup. We did something like this with a lifecycle policy, but her the date will be written to tape immediately.

If I understand your requirement correctly, you only want to duplicate to tape before the data on disk is to be expired?

Any reason why you don't want backups to be duplicated directly after completion of backup? This way you are assured of successful duplications.

At this point in time SLP's cannot be scheduled. I believe that it's a good idea to duplicate images ASAP.
