Job skip after Netbackup upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5.3

Hi there.,

We meet a strange problem after our Netbackup upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5.3(windows 2003 R2), i have updated to veritas support, but they do not meet such issue before and is doing research. I wonder if anybody meet the same issue before.

We have about 13 policies and all of them have 3 schedule, dailly(Mon-Thu), Weekly(every Fri), Monthly(last Fri). All those jobs begin from 21:00 to 11:00. After upgrade, I found 2 jobs in different policies always skip randomly and there's no log in active monitor. I try to use 'nbpemreq -updatepolicies' and 'nbpemreq -predict -date 04/30/2009 07:00:00' to see what would backup tonight, 1 or 2 job would not be showed in the list. Restart the netbackup service isn't work. The previous success job that would be skipped is from 21:00-21:30.

Anyone could help me?

when i copy the policy, the job would be listed in 'nbpemreq -predict -date ', but the next day after it backup successful, it would disapear again.

I create a copy from the current policy. and then we could find it in list.

But!! when i change it's start time from 21:00 to 20:00. The job missing in the list. When i change the time backup, still not working.

I have tried to create a new policy. same problem. i'm afraid to change any policy now...
