Jobs restarting even after they have been cancelled?

I'm currently using Netbackup 6.0 MP4 and was wondering if any of you have encountered the following:

I have backup jobs that I cancelled and it shows status code 150. But then it restarts again for some unknown reason. Is this a known issue/bug? I also have seen cases were a parent job will use an old child job to do a backup even if the child job was completed beforehand.

Could it be that a retry job was submited before the job died with the 150 ... I've seen this once or twice and could never figure out what was going on ...

if it is a scheduled backup, if you stop the job manually, it is considered as the backup has been failed

so the scheduler re initiates the backup till the scheduled backup window expires.

It depends upon number of retries defined as well as type of schedule you have defined in policy. If it's a frequency based schedule then you will see this happening more often.
