Linux BMR to a specific date

I need to roll back a server to a specific date and wanted to use BMR.

Will BMR allow you to restore to a specific date and how?

http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC6472 - See Page 123. This is called a "Point in time Restore". The manual contain a example of selecting a point in time configuration.
