I saw MS SQL Server2014 SP1 is supported by Netbackup. Just want to know when MS SQL Server 2014 SP2 support will be available.

Did you mean SQL 2014 SP1 CU2 ?  Here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2967546

.

If so, then the NetBackup database agent SCL says:

For any SQL Service Pack (SP) supported by NetBackup, its Cumulative Updates (CU) are also supported, unless otherwise noted.

FYI - for reference - the link to the table of MS SQL Database agent support for NetBackup v7.7 is here:

Go to Top of "Microsoft SQL Server"

You can approach your local SE for roadmap info - Veritas does not publish roadmap info in a public forum.

Or else subscribe to the DB SCL for notification each time the SCL is updated:

Even these guys don't list an MS SQL 2014 SP2.

N.B:  They note two "streams" of SQL version upgrades.

However I now assume that MS SQL Server 2014 "any service pack" is supported as per the above link which mentioned below line:

For any SQL Service Pack (SP) supported by NetBackup, its Cumulative Updates (CU) are also supported, unless otherwise noted.

No.  Any Service Pack is not supported.  Only CU updates to an SP can be assumed to be supported unless otherwise stated.

Where is your link to an MS download for MS SQL 2014 SP2?   AFAIK, at this time, there is no such thing as an SP2 for MS SQL 2014.

Ahh. Ok. So as per the below snapshot, SQL Server 2014 SP1 is supported by Netbackup (included any CU for SP1)

Agreed there is no SP2 released for MS SQL Server 2014

Do you happen to know if and when MS will be releasing SP2 for MS SQL 2014?   Was there a public announcement?  I can't find any reference to it.  If so, can you share a link?  Thanks.

sdo:   Already agreed on my last post.

Indeed.  That much is clear.

What I was subsequently asking is whether you are able to either confirm or deny whether you know of any forthcoming SP2 release?  And is so, when, if you know?

The very nature of your initial starting post question carries an embedded implication that you do know of such a release.  Hence my subsequent question.

And so the answer is?
