Hello again  community Friends,

Sharepoint problem

NBU Master 7.5.0.7 W2K8 64bit

NBU Media 7.5.0.7 SuSe 10 SP2 Linux 64bit as Proxy Server

Sharepoint FEWS 2010 W2K8 SP 1 7.5.0.7

Sharepoint SQL Backend  W2K8 SP 2 7.5.0.7

All backups Standard (Microsoft Sharepoint Resources:\), GRT (Microsoft Sharepoint Resources:\AllWebs) and Sharepoint VMware used to work.

Standard and GRT backups have stopped working and failing with 71 and 69 respectively.

All settings, permissions are there and sharepoint utility SPCT reports all green.

Backup kicks in okay, bpresolver does it job, FEWS finds the backend server, filelist enumarated and snapshot taken but gets deleted straight after that and bakup fails.. see job log..

am troubleshooting at the moment, any suggestion would be appreicated..

Managed to fix it.

It was the FW issue where backed SQL server wasnt able to connect to Front End web server on port 25.

Disabled the FWs on both FEWS and BE Sql.

Added the FW rules and added Ports (25,1556,13724,13782) bidirectionally on both servers.
