Manually duplicate SLP images to another STU

Hello all,

I am currently trying to use bpduplicate to move images from one stu to another but we use SLP's.  Is there anyway to manually duplicate these images if they were backed up using an SLP?  Any help is greatly appreciated!!

"Skipping backup id ......, it is a lifecycle image that cannot be manually duplicated"

Found something else: If one carefully reads this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH60675

it seems that manual duplication should be possible. According to this TN, it was a bug present in early releases of 6.5 and was supposed to be fixed in subsequent patches.

Extract:

When the catalog has the image set to "Lifecycle IN-Complete" and the image does not appear in the EMM table, it is not possible to manually create the copies of the image to the storage destinations outside of the Lifecycle policy. The bpduplicate command will not normally allow the manipulation of images that are in a "Lifecycle IN-complete" state.

Workaround:
If and only if the image cannot be found in the EMM table, the NetBackup administrator has the ability via the Command Line Interface to release the lock on the image by changing the state to "Lifecycle Complete" in the catalog. The Catalog functions can now be used to run the duplications manually to the other storage destinations.

ETA of Fix:
Symantec has acknowledged that the above mentioned issue (ET 1227031) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article.  Symantec is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.  This issue is currently being considered by Symantec to be addressed in future patch releases.
