Hi Experts,

We have LTO-6 tapes and using Win 2008 server as Master.

I need to know how to check which media is full so that we can remove these from library.

Thanks,

Hopefully you have not enabled multiple retentions on tape?
As explained over here:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/retention-period-5
You can end up with expired short-term images and 1 year images on the same tape.
Media reports will only show the size of unexpired images.

Go to robots in the netbackup console , media status will show whether tape is full or not.

Its showing full MPX. But it has less than 1 tb and LTO 6 has 2.5 TB capacity.

There are Many tapes with Full MPX so is it fine to remove these from library?
