Media Server on Windows 2008

Hi All,

We have Netbackup master 7.5.0.1 running on windows 2003 and connected with IBM TS3310 (3 drive).

We have tried install media server on windows 2008. This server also have to zone with this tape library.

Medium changer and tape drive was detected on windows 2008. When we tried configure device using nbu admin console netbackup, the result is failed.

Any solution how to fix this issue ? Thanks in advance.

What error did you get? Any screenshots of device config attempt?

More info about W2008 - 32 or 64-bit level? Release/patch version?
IBM tape drivers installed?
Which NBU licenses added?
Library based tape drive licenses? If shared drives - SSO license?

Have you confirmed successful comms between master and media?
Please post output of the following command on master:
<install-path>\veritas\netbackup\bin\admincmd\nbemmcmd -listhosts -verbose

Also post output of this command on media server (remember to right-click cmd, Run as Administrator):
<install-path>\veritas\volmgr\bin\scan
