Hi friends,
i have a question, and need your help please.
Is it possible to use a virtual machine VMWARE as Media Server?
Netbackup Master is a Windows 2008 R2 VM under version 7.7.2.
We have a Data Domain 890 and we also have a ROBOT NEO OVERLAND 8000E.
Note that we already have a Physical Media Server connected to this infrastructure and functional, but need to know if we can add a Media Server VM, and could handle backups on Tapes (Robotics) and Data Domain.
thanks in advance.

Virtual Media server on VMware is only supported with disk.
No tape or robotics (Media Manager) .
