Hi,

today i tried to upgrade my master server from version 8.3.0.1 to version 9.1.0.1. After creating a new service account the upgrade process went smoothly. Then i´ve started the new java admin console and all my policies were gone and i have no idea why this has happened. The trace file said noting here...

Any help is appreciated

thanks Kai

Hi @Kai2209

Pls call Veritas support and open a support ticket.

if you run command bppllist from the command line, does the policies then list ?

Hi
Check if /usr/openv is owned by newly created user... Check permissions
In /usr/openv/netbackup/db/class should be your policies - if i do recall correctly from the top of my head. Check this folder permissions...

This sounds like a minor bug in 9.1 upgrade. Even i faced this problem on a busy NetBackup Server after upgrade. permissions on policy directory was auto set to 655.. .i changed it manually to 755 then it started showing policies in console as normal. i already have a support case going on and BL investigating.
