Missing windows backup history

Greetings everyone,

More fun I am having.

When trying to do a windows client restore using Backup, Archive, Restore no windows backup  history is found.

Backup histories are present for unix and ndmp storage clients, just nothing found for any windows clients.

The windows backups are running, and the catalog shows the backup images. Just nothing to select for Windows restore.

Running Windows Server 2008 OS with NetBackup 7.5

Must be missing something, any suggestions?

Show us how you did the file browse in BAR GUI. Screenshots will be helpful for us to identify what went wrong... btw, what Netbackup version and OS?

Have a look at the policy for Windows client(s).
Any chance the policy type was accidently specified as Standard?

If so, you need to specify Standard when selecting Policy type in BAR.

The next thing to check in the policy is exact spelling of Client name.
NBU is case sensitive. Also check for FQDN vs shortname.
client1 != Client1 != clien1.fqdn
