My Netbackup in local drive is increasing daily and made a less space on c:\?

my dear all

Master server NB 7.5.0.5 windows serv 32 bit 2003 r2

daily our C:\ Drive size is increasing and when we check ProgramFiles\Veritas\Netbackup is increasing ,

so what is the procedure that we can decrease its size or move to another drive f:\

also check either Netbackup/logs or Netbackup/db/images folder  is increasing

also check either Netbackup/logs or Netbackup/db/images folder  is increasing

NetBackup stores image information for each file/folder that is getting backed up every day on each of your clients. This image info is kept for as long you have specified in schedule retention levels.

from above excellent link ,i have moved to drive f: , the images folder, and got space in local drive

For others who might come across this link, you can also compress the images in the catalog to save some space. This may work to get you out of a tight spot temporarily.

Also, the ALTPATH method above will work for moving an individual client directory if you wanted to do that. You have to move the whole client directory and not individual dates/times below the client name.
