NB 7.6.0.2 Restore bandwidth limit in the pd.conf file

Hi all! We have configured the MSDP on our master server for backing up 400 clients. To prevent the network channel from overloading we've changed the BANDWITH_LIMIT value to 16 in the pd.conf file. Other words it's 16 KBps. The backup procedure flows normal with the bandwith limitation. But restore procedure is not: it takes the maximum of speed that is possible. Please can anobody tell how can we limit the bandwith for data restoration? The pd.conf file on the master server also configured for 16 KBps. Thanks in advance!

Have you looked at either the BANDWIDTH or THROTTLE BANDWIDTH settings in your Master Server properties?

BANDWIDTH and THROTTLE BANDWIDTH parameters on master server doesn't affect on the restore operations as described in the NB Adm. guide. We've received the approve from Symantec that BANDWIDTH limit in the pd.conf doesn't affect on the restore procedures too. "Determines the maximum bandwidth that is allowed when backing up or restoring data between the deduplication host and the deduplication pool." - This is not correct. Thanks for your reply!
