Hi !
Our Master Server (AIX) /Media Server (Windows) are installed with NB 8.1.1. We start to migrate our client (Windows) 7.7.3 to 8.1.1.
Our Security Setting is set to "Medium"
I created a token for 1000 client and we use silent installation. In the silentclient.cmd, I set the variable "AUTHORIZATION_TOKEN=" with the token ID. Up to know, everything is OK. After the installation of our client, I checked the "Uses Remaining" and the number still to 1000. I refresh the token, and still to 1000. I have also another token (old one, still available) for another tests and the number decrease. The security setting to medium was always set to "Medium". My question, there is a difference between a silent installation or manual installation for the token used allowed ?
Thanks !

Hello,
when your Security Setting is Medium, then "well-known client" upgrade (e.g. client with active backups and/or present in at least one policy etc.) won't require token.
Just fresh installation of a brand new client will consume token usage.
