I stop the nbu server using netbackup stop.

And then I can not start the netbackup.

In the /usr/openv/db/log/server.log there are some errors:

I. 07/26 13:07:22. Using a maximum page size of 4096 bytes
I. 07/26 13:07:22. Starting database "NBDB" (/usr/openv/db/data/NBDB.db) at Tue Jul 26 2011 13:07
I. 07/26 13:07:22. Starting database "BMRDB" (/usr/openv/db/data/BMRDB.db) at Tue Jul 26 2011 13:07
E. 07/26 13:07:22. *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 201129 (11.0.1.2250)
File is shorter than expected

How can I resolve this?I backup catalog everyday. But now I can not restore catalog. Many netbackup daemons can not startup.

Please check file sizes of all files in /usr/openv/db/data ..

Look for files with file size 0 or large log files.

Please post output.
