NBU 5.1 compatible with windows 7 or vista?

Hi

does anyone know if NBU 5.1 is compatible with Win7/Vista? I've been allocated a Win7 laptop and have installed NBU 5.1 Java Console on it and it won't seem to open. Has anyone else tried to run it?

The compatability matrix shows that Windows 7 and Windows server 08 R2 wont have support till Netbackup version 7.

You might be able to get it to run in compatability mode, however its still not supported

right click the executable > properties > compatability select windows xp and try to run


I just realze i misread your original posting.. you were inquiring about the java console.. when you click the icon does anything happen?

Support for these two O/Ses begins from 6.5.5 (not 7.0 as Douglas_A says above).
