NBU 7.5 schedule problem

sym_biosis
Level 4

The scenario is like -

For a particular policy -

Monthly schedule window was on 2nd saturday and sunday and retry allowed was checked.

Monthly full completed successfully on 2nd saturday for a particular client.

Monthly Full backup submitted again for that client from a policy on 3rd saturday and sunday.

Want to know if is this any problem from schedule or I'm missing something ?

Please help us to help you - please post policy config as requested a couple of weeks ago.

I would like to see output of:

bppllist <policyname> -U

Command is in /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd

The policy should not rerun if the Monthly on the 2nd Saturday was successful.
For this reason we need to see Policy config to determine if anything else would cause the policy to run again.
Most scheduling issues is caused by our own interpretation of how it should work. If we can compare your requirement with actual policy config, we should be able to assist you.

Just to rectify the command posted by Nagalla, which appears to be a typo

bppllist <policyname> -L
