NBU 7.6.0.2 MS-Windows policy "checkpoints"

Hi there,

Wanted to check with you, regarding the checkpoints you can set on policy level, if I have a 15 minute "marker" or checkpoint, and as an example sometimes I dont have enough media/tapes in the library, the jobs will idle "incomplete" and continue when media is available.

But at some point it needs to fail ofcourse because no media was made available. if I right click restart the job, do I continue from the last 15 minute checkpoint that was made?

My understanding is that this is what it will provide me with, hence the reason there is such a feature, or is this incorrect?

By taking checkpoints during a backup, you can save time if the backup fails.U can resume the job from the last checkpoint.

For check point feature enable -If backup failed afteand U writting some thing u can resume it from the last checkpoint.

If the backups fails without writting any data--it wld be restarting the job (nt resuming)
