I again with an old problem.

We have standalone MS Exchange 2010 into VMware VM. And have two NBU 7.6.1 servers - master and media, both at Linux SUSE 11.3.

Backup with VMware policy type work fine. But when I try to browse archive via BAR interface, I found the very boring problem - ERROR: database system error ))

I collected NCFLBC log and found some error:

What could it mean?

Some times before I have restored GRT Exchange objects without any troubles. What could have changed? The same NBU, the same Exchange...

have you observed the resource utilization on the Exchage VM, when you are browsing the backup image?

have you observed any spikes.., in CPU or RAM?

CPUs load about 5-15%. Physical RAM - over 90% (look at screenshot). ((

This is the reason for failure?

I do not understand a bit. Would NBU have used the resources of the client for browsing GRT archive?

May be problematic place is not on the Exchange server but on the Master or Media NBU servers? What logs do I look to find the problem?

Strangely, but today I can browse any Exchange backups whithout any problems. Perhaps the problem actually in the MS Exchange host.

I'll wait for problems reproduction.

Please check the netbackup client services from the exchange server, change it to user for dedicated backup.

Thanks.
