Setup:
Linux Master/Media w/ AdvancedDisk pool attached
(Remote) Linux Media Server w/ AdvancedDisk pool attached
Software: Netbackup 7, client, master, media
I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with client side deduplication. On the master, I have defined several clients to use client-side deduplication. Those that are "local" and write to the AdvancedDisk attached to my master/media server work just fine. Those that are "remote" and write to the AdvancedDisk attached to my remote media server error out with this error:

Based on a lot of searching, I have verified that there is no firewall between the master and the client OR the media server and the clients. I can find no direct information on these errors in Symantec's knowledge base. Anyone with insight into this issue? If I disable client-side dedupe, things work fine. Media-side dedupe is not an option. I'd really like to be able to use the feature to save on space.
