Hi everyone,

Our customer's master server is almost full. According to the additional storage will be delivered later this month.

There are around 6GB available disk. Can you suggest any workaround while waiting for additional storage?

Can we delete some old logs or files?

NBU version is 7.6.0.1

Windows Server 2008 R2 Std

Thanks!

523GB is occupied by db\images...

so first make sure image cleanup jobs in netbackup are running successfull(you can check in activity moniter), if they are failing you need to fix them first..

if they are successfull

below are the 3 options that you have

1) extend the size of the disk

2) compress the image database

GUI>> Host properties>> master server>> Global Attiributes>> compress catalog interval.

3) do catalog archiving

Hello,

when you say sever almost full, does it the local Drive holds the Netbackup databases?

what is the size of the local disk which holds the netbackup?

what is the size occupied by Netbackup Image DB?

what is the size occupied by netbackup logs ?

first go ahead and remove the logs and see if it gets some free space... if you still does not get the enough space..

consideing the Image database size, either you can do the catalog compression or archiving..
