NBU java admin console Unable to login status

Hi All,

I'm unable to login remote java admin console from windows(2012 R2) master server and its giving me below error:

Unable login, status 518

invalid username or password

Netbackup master server 7.6.0.4

Netbackup remote admin console 7.6.0.1

Please help.

are you able to loign to the Master server Directly (Remote Desktop connection ) using the same user name and passwd?

are you using the local accout or AD accout? if you are using the AD account , are you trying with AD domain name 

something like domain\username

Your Java console cannot be lower version than the master.

Download and install 7.6.0.4 Java patch from here: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH223740 

Next thing to check is auth.conf on the master server.
Your user name need to be added to this file with appropriate permissions.

 I tried logging in as domain\user, it worked fine.
