NBU7.5 VADP GRT ACL

Hi experts,

NBU7.5 can restore individual file from VADP VM image backup. (GRT)

In this caase, will restored file keep origina ACL?

How about the following each perttern.

#1. Guest OS is Windows, Backup Host is Windows.

#2. Guest OS is Linux, Backup Host is Windows.

#3. Guest OS is Windows, Backup Host is Linux.

#4. Guest OS is Linux, Backup Host is Linux.

Hello Masami,

it does not matter what the pattern is...

it alway do the restore how it was at the time of backup( original ACL)

so in your pattersns..

#1. Guest OS is Windows, Backup Host is Windows.  ---> Yes

#2. Guest OS is Linux, Backup Host is Windows. ---> Yes

#3. Guest OS is Windows, Backup Host is Linux. ---> Yes

#4. Guest OS is Linux, Backup Host is Linux. ---> Yes
