so looks like its related to tape Drives..
when did you last clean the tape drives?
what is the hardware info of the tape library?
Did you upgrade the firmware of the tape drives recently?
does all the tape drives having this issue or specific Drives?

Sagar,
lets do this...
Zone the same tape drives to the one of the media servers and try to make the backups using the media manager stoarge unit to the same Tape drives and see how it goes..
if that move successfull, then we need to suspect something between the filer and the tape Drives.
