We could fix the issue!
The Problem was a combination of many little files on the filer volume (2,5 TB) and a generell performance issue (snapshot on filr every hour, changed to every 4 hour).
With setting up the Timeout Parameter from 8 hours to 7 days, the backup job starts earlier but runs ~6 days and 11 hours! After changing the snapshot configuration we could backup the filer in 1 day, thats okay for this type of data.

Can you run this command on Netapp Filer
options ip.fastpath.enable off
Then try to take NDMP Backup and see how it works.
Try to do a dump backup also for those qtree
dump 0f null /vol/vol1/qtree1
and check whether its working fine or not.

can you share logs from the detailed job status till the end of failure and what is the size of the volume on the filer which you are trying to back up.
