Hello, I am trying to install a new client but during installation it gets stuck when reading the installation logs in:
% ALLUSERSPROFILE% \ Veritas \ NetBackup \ InstallLogs
netbackup reports that there is a dll in use msvcp100.dll
Line 10689: <msg> Info 1603.The file C: \ Windows \ system32 \ msvcp100.dll is being held in use. Close that application and retry. </msg>

Have you tried to reboot the client, it might free up any contested files/processes.
It would also help if you uploaded the install logs. If you find the install logs, you should see something like this.
One or more entries in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations registry value are associated with products other than NetBackup. This indicates that previous operations on this host are pending completion following a reboot of the system. Consider finishing pending operations by rebooting the system.
