NETBACKUP support for Hitachi HUS VM

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what level of support NetBackup has for HDS HUS VM.

I see HUS 100 family mentioned on HCL but no mention of HUS VM

Unfortunately if it's not in the compatibility guide then it's not supported.

Checking hardware compatibiity (page 194), this is listed under NDMP Devices- Vendor Compatibility

Yes Yes Yes SCSI reservation is not enabled by default. Please refer to Hitachi's
documentation for details

This does not address my query. I am talking about HUS VM not HNAS !!

I cannot see any reason it would not be supoorted as we are just talking about a block storage array.

OST may be another issue though...
