Hi Team,

Recently noticing jobs as per the attached image, the activity monitor detailed status is blank. Has any one came across such case?

Maseter/Media (combo) NBU 7.1.0.1

OS: Windows 2008 R2 EE x64

Best regards,

Rizwan

I suppose that someone kicks user backup, user archive or application backup(like DB agent) specifying the policy or schedule name that does not exist. Check bprd debug log to determine which host requested these backups.

It was displayed in Activity Monitor :D) So, check bpbackup and dbclient debug logs on the client.

Verbose level is default, and found no logs getting created. Any idea how to take this further?

Hi

If that client uses the SQL agent check the bch file it uses to see if a specific policy is named

If not, and based on it specifying an invalid policy and schedule it does look like a user backup then check under program files\veritas\netbackup\logs\user_ops\ and see if one of the folders is dated at the time of these error - drill down to see the job details and its associated log to find out what has been going on

The bpcd logs on the client and Master/Media should also contain the communication that was taking place
