I would like to know way to findout broken FT pipes on SAN client whenever we recycle FT services on FT media server. Looking for some sort of command on SAN client ,does not matter whether netbackup command or OS level command to find out broken or lost FT pipes on client.
Master : 7.5.0.6 Solaris 10
Media : 7.5.0.6 Solaris 10
Client : 7.5.0.6 Solaris 10

I could not find a command that could do that directly. A alternative could be monitoring unified log 200 (nbftclnt) and then scan the debug log for pipe related error messages.
Here is the admin guide for SAN transport if you don't know it already:

Try this command from the server side:
nbftconfig -listclients -verbose

am looking on client side to find out and confirm that ft pipes are broken and send to OS guy to restart ft service on client.
thanks for ur reply.

bptpcinfo seems like a good choice.
Use -r to remove obsolete entries and -u to discover.

To prevent loss/change of device paths, ensure Persistent Binding is done between OS and HBA.
