We are using SL3000 tape library with LTO4 tapes among 2 netbackup environments .There is no barcode rule setup on one of the enivirnment.Can we impliment barcode rule in both environments to use specific barcodes for existing media ?.Someone please suggest me on this.
Barcode rule is not applied to existing media. It only affect to unregistered media. If you need to apply it to further incoming media, do it. Otherwise, no need to add barcode rules.
