Need help with netbackup uninstallation on suse

Hi,

Please tell me how to do uninstallation of netbackup on suse.

Also let me know why i am not getting netbackup icon on desktop of suse.  Like we get backup exec icon to open console on windows desktop, If i need netbackup icon to open netbackup console on suse desktop, what should i do?

NBU Client uninstall - chapter 10

NBU Server uninstall - chapter 9.

No idea about the icon - probably a manual task to create a desktop icon with path to Java GUI binary - jnbSA for server and jbpSA for Client GUI.

The NetBackup installation process on Unix/Linux servers does not create any desktop icons.  That is a Windows Server only installation activity.

As pointed out by Marianne, creating such an icon is a post-install user created object. Example command invocation would be:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/jnbSA &      (Master Server Java console)

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/jbpSA &      (Client GUI)
