Need tape details for an expired image

Please let me know is there any way to fetch the tape details for an expired backup image. I am badly in need of this information. Please help!!

When a backup image is expired all related information is purged from Netbackup. To retrieve information to can either use debug log to see if you can find the information wanted or restore a old catalog backup to a test server before the backup expired. I suggest you make use of the "Noexpire" touch file on the test server.

Please note - There is a great chance that the tape has been re-used and the tape has been overwritten with new backup's

You can get the expired image, Only to restore the old catalog. Before date you have expire the media images.

By import, you can re-organize the catalog of expired images recorded into media. Make sure that once you perform import, the media come into IMPORTED state and cannot be used to write data until all the image be expired.
