Need to make one client offline

I need to put one client offline however i added it under client attiributes and put it in offline mode using bplclient

still i can see the client is running

 

./bpclient -client kutoas01-ebe -add -offline
bpclient: the entity already exists (226)


Error code 226 : the entity already exists

 

nbpem shows it will run again

 

./nbpemreq -predict_all -date 10/25/2016 16:00:00
Predicted worklist including all jobs due to run between now and Tue 25 Oct 2016 04:00:00 PM EST
rl client policy schedule type due time
-- -------------------- -------------------- -------------------- ---------- --- ---------------

You used keys incorrectly. It sould be like:

bpclient -M <master_name> -client <client_name> -update -ut  -offline -onlineat <unixtime>

Hi Raul,
You can add the client in offline from master host properties ==} client attributes==}add==}make the client entry there ( this is case sensitive so give name the as in your policy) ==}set the offline until vaule as per requirement .

I suppose your server is in EST TIME so make sure you so thi work from the ops center which runs in the same time zone as master server .
