Net Backup 6.0 and 6.5 to backup Windows Server 2008

[net_backup_6_0_]

I want to know to backup Windows Server 2008

with 6.0. At witch MP is this possible ?

and with 6.5 at witch MP is this possible ?

windows 2008 is not suppoted until 6.5.2

and the window server MUST be x64.

( I happen to be testing my first 2008 backup today- being a unix person - 2008 had me really confused - had to have help to figure out how to get the network drive mapped so I could do the install - could not find the "map network drive" button).

I have a 6.5 Windows 2003 x64 Master Server and a 6.0 Solaris Master for two different Backuptyps.

I had called to verify ( I was at 6.5 at the time) and 6.5.2 is what I had found out.

I had not looked up any other versions.

remember if the 2008 server needs a higher version then your master/media you will have to upgrade them as well.
