NetBack v7.1 Java Admin Console Installation

I have a NBU v7.1.0.2 Master Server installed on a M6000 Server running Solaris 10.

I'm having issues installing the NBU Java Admin Console on a Windows 7 machine.

The installation does not see the Master Server and I keep getting the following error

message:

11-29-2011,00:17:00 : Could not open Service Control Manager. Returning with error.
11-29-2011,00:17:00 : Action ended 0:17:00: Immediate_ShutDownProduct. Return value 3.
11-29-2011,00:17:00 : Action ended 0:17:00: INSTALL. Return value 3.

No communication with master is attempted during installation (only after installation when Java GUI is used to logon).

Did you remember to right-click and Run as Administrator?

as Marianne says, Just right click and Run as Administrator. It should work. Because i faced this issue a long ago :)

I was getting the same error , but as suggested i tried to run it as admin , then it worked. Thanx Marianne.
