NetBackup 4.5 with 2 cpu on Sun system

I just heard from a friend that the NetBackup doesn’t working properly under 2 cpu ?

Does anyone have info on this?

I have never heard something like this about NetBackup.
If this is true, this is serious and common issue. But I can not find in patch README. I don't believe it.

nope.. never heard of this issue before. My colleagues have been installing for some of our clients and never heard then face any problem before.

I used to run netbackup 4.5 GA on dual processor without any issues.

It is not necessary to have a minimum of 2 CPU's NetBackup will work with a single CPU and it will work with multiple CPU's as previously pointed out. However, this is a performance consideration. I do NOT recommend using a single CPU.
