NetBackup 6.5.4 Sharepoint initial configuration problems MS 2008 Standard

I have been trying to get SharePoint setup at a site and I just can't seem to see the forest through the trees here.  According to what I have gotten out of the documentation, and what the customer says is setup, all should be good.

If I login to the account  that the client service is running as, I cannot browse the sharepoint tree like I should be able to.  I also cannot browse it from the Policy, and the backups will fail with a 200 error if I setup Microsoft Share Point:\*

In the beds log on the client, I see the following:

So I can see that access is denied, but I can't figure out where it is being denied, or to whom.

Ideas??

Thanks.

I had the permissions and logins checked all around again, very explicitly.  Found that the DBA has setup accounts as Backup Operator, not Administrator.  Once changed it worked.

Thanks.

The following TechNotes describe permission requirements and might help you, BUT you do realize that W2008 R2 is only supported as from 6.5.5?

I guess I will have to go read the compat matrix again.  Do you mean not supported for SharePoint agents, or in general.  I know there is an issue with getting the Shadow Copy in 6.5.4..

W2008 R2 is not even mentioned in the Database Agent matrix.

Extract from NetBackup 6.5.5 Release Announcement :
Windows 2008 R2 Support - Standard File System Client *Note 1

Note 1:  Standard File System Client includes Support for the standard Windows File System policy including File Systems, Shadow Copy Components, System State, Open File Backups, compression, encryption, etc.  Active Directory and Active Directory Granular are supported as part of the standard Windows File System coverage.  Additional Database agents (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc)  and Advanced Backup methods (Snapshots, FlashBackup, HyperV, BMR, etc)  are not supported at this time.  Windows 2008 R2 Server Core is not Supported at this time.  Full Windows 2008 R2 Support will be delivered in NetBackup 7.0.

I checked the server again, and it is 2008 Standard, not R2.  Whew!!  Of course this puts me back to my original problem.  Still searching though.

Thanks for all the pointers.
