NetBackup 6.5.4 upgrade to 7.1

We have a Solaris OS version 10.x master with 4 media servers they all NetBackup version 6.5.4 with Oracle, vault and BMR agents loaded.

We would like to upgrade it to 7.1 and the question is, Do we have to un-install the agents, uninstall the older version

and then do upgrade or just install version 7.1 ontop of the old version?

Upgrade procedure is detailed on Installation Guide. Check page 78 - you have to run pkgrm on Solaris servers.
