I have the serial number of NetBackup Enterprise 6.5. But when I went to fileconnect today (2013), it said that the product cannot be downloaded now.
"This product is currently unavailable for download. Please Contact Customer Service by clicking on the link provided on the page (61508)."
Where can I download the file I needed now?
BTW, Can I use nb client 6.5 with nb server 7.5? I checked the matrix and it said Yes, but I have not got any exp with this case.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Luckily, I have found the 6.5 setup bundle in 1 of my old servers.
But I still wish Symantec have some way for me to get the old installation files when I need it.

Find your local Symantec reseller or SE.
Most resellers have copies of old software. (I'm one of them...)
PS: Are you aware that NBU 6.5 reached EOSL in Oct 2012?

Yep, I know it is end of life. That's why I raised the support case and asked here.

You should no be doing new installations anymore... Rather plan upgrade to supported version.

Best bet is to locate your nearest channel partner, and see if they happen to have some old copies.
